20 km west of Innisfail is Gleniffer Lake, fed by the Red Deer River, and held back by the Dickson Dam. 2. MEDICINE RIVER WILDLIFE REHAB CENTRE
Located south-east of Raven, this centre operates as a wildlife hospital and education centre. Visitors are welcome between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. from May to November.

3. RCMP DOG SERVICE TRAINING CENTRE
Five km south of Innisfail, the RCMP have their only dog training facility in Canada. PDSTC is the home of the Canadian National Police Service Dog monument which was created in memory of all Police Dogs killed in the line of duty for all Police Services in Canada.
