10. GLENIFFER LAKE / DICKSON DAM
20 km west of Innisfail is Gleniffer Lake, fed by the Red Deer River, and held back by the Dickson Dam. The lake has four boat launches and is well used for recreational boating, fishing and birdwatching. Provincial and private campgrounds, picnic areas and year-round resorts are nestled along the shores of the lake.
