2. DICKSON DAM INTERPRETIVE CENTRE
At the damsite overlooking the Red Deer River valley, you'll find an information display, numerous viewpoints, a beautifully landscaped picnic area, and some great fishing holes.
3. DICKSON STORE MUSEUM
Built in 1903, restored in 1990 and officially opened as a museum by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. A 1930's restoration of the general store and pioneer living quarters in the Danish Hamlet of Dickson. www.dicksonstoremuseum.com
4. DR. GEORGE / KEMP HOUSE
A registered provincial historic site built in 1893 by Dr. and Barbara George. Dr. George was the surgeon for the North West Mounted Police. Mrs. George designed the Alberta provincial crest. The home also housed the province's first natural museum before becoming Katy Jane's home and boarding house.
5. INNISFAIL AND DISTRICT HISTORICAL VILLAGE
One of the largest museums in Central Alberta, the Historical Village also hosts numerous special events during summer months. 6. HISTORIC MARKERVILLE CREAMERY
The Markerville Creamery Museum is a glimpse into the past of this scenic Icelandic settlement. Built in 1902 and restored to its 1932 appearance, the Creamery remains the "Hub" of this tiny community. Costumed interpreters offer guided tours during the spring and summer season. 7. STEPHANSSON HOUSE
Restored to its 1927 appearance, this Victorian style Stephansson home offers a glimpse of Alberta's Icelandic heritage and the life of the famous Icelandic-Canadian poet, Stephen G. Stephansson. Stephansson House
8. BOWDEN PIONEER MUSEUM

9. DOUBLE TREE VILLAGE MUSEUM
"Step Back In Time" and enjoy one of the largest historic villages in Alberta. Our U shaped street includes 25 buildings of the early 1900's, everything from a church, to a tepee, and everything in between, including a picnic area.
